Check my fine — $15Payment via Stripe (Visa / Mastercard / Amex / Apple Pay). Report is emailed within about 5 minutes.
What's included
- Six compliance checks (bylaw match, fine cap per CPR s.73.8, required fields per CPR s.73.7, deemed-receipt timing, process compliance, recommended next step)
- A formatted HTML email you can read on your phone
- A one-page PDF attached to the email — printable, shareable, attachable to a CDRT application
- A draft response you can adapt and send to your board
- Citations to specific bylaw sections and statutory provisions for every claim
- Background & history field — tell us what isn't in the letter, the AI factors it in
- Up to 3 supporting documents (prior warnings, correspondence, photos) included in the analysis
What's not included
- Legal advice. The report is a structured procedural-compliance assessment with citations; it's not a lawyer's opinion.
- CDRT filing service. If you decide to file at the tribunal, you file it — we don't act as your agent.
- Coverage outside Alberta. We check the Alberta CPA + CPR + your Alberta-registered bylaw. We don't cover BC, Ontario, or other provinces.
- A guarantee of any outcome. A clean compliance report doesn't mean you'll win at the CDRT; a flagged report doesn't mean the board will back down. It means you have the facts.
Refund policy
$15 is generally non-refundable once the report is generated. We refund in two situations:
- You didn't receive the report. If 24 hours pass after payment and the report hasn't arrived (and we've attempted re-delivery once), we refund automatically.
- The report cites a statute that doesn't exist or is materially wrong. Email hello@finecheck.ca with the specific citation within 30 days. If verified, we refund.
How does $15 compare to the alternatives?
We've laid out the full math against paying the fine, reading the statute yourself, and hiring a lawyer on the home page.

Why $15?
It's the price point that covers our AI + email + storage costs while staying meaningfully cheaper than the alternatives ($300+ for a lawyer's opinion). Owners can decide “is this worth it” without a real budget conversation.
Is there a subscription option?
No. FineCheck is one-time per fine. The vast majority of owners only need this once, and we don't want to charge a monthly fee against an annual use case.
Do you offer discounts for multiple fines?
Not currently. Each fine has its own letter, bylaw context, and supporting documents — they aren't cheaper to assess in bulk. If you have 3+ related fines to assess (e.g. a board campaigning against one unit), email us and we'll discuss.
Can I expense this through my condo corporation?
That's between you and your corporation. FineCheck issues a Stripe receipt automatically that you can submit as documentation.
Is the $15 subject to GST?
Stripe will charge applicable GST on the $15 if your billing location requires it. The total at checkout will reflect this.
Do property managers / boards get a different price?
Different product, different price. The $15 service is the owner-side report. If you manage a condo corporation and want notice-generation software, contact us at hello@finecheck.ca.
